Just a short commute from Georgetown and surrounding neighborhoods, a.kitchen+bar invites both locals and visitors into its stylish main dining room and intimate 40-seat bar and lounge, operating seven days a week.
Reflecting a deep commitment to place, the menu explores the seasonality of the Chesapeake, offering hyper-seasonal American small plates, each crafted to highlight local purveyors. The beverage program focuses on naturally farmed wines and inventive cocktails, building on the strong wine reputation of its Philadelphia sibling, which has earned accolades from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and a 2024 James Beard semifinalist nomination for “Outstanding Wine & Other Beverages Program.”
